Dating Sports
Since I can remember, my life has been a rollercoaster relationship with sports. We’ve had our ups (Mookie Wilson’s 1986 ground ball through the infamous Bill Buckner’s legs leading to my first ever and only world series championship in my lifetime), and of course we had our downs (Patrick Ewing’s heartbreaking finger roll miss in the end of game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Indiana Pacers in 1995). But for me the good definitely outweighs the bad.
I know that’s hard to believe coming from a Mets, Knicks, and Jets fan; but the truth is that no matter how badly my teams play, come September I’m ready for football, come October I’m ready for basketball, and come April I’m ready for baseball.
Some people might call my obsession with sports a little over the top, and those people probably will not read this blog. For those of you who love sports the way I do, I’m sure you’re goning to want to comment on what I have to say. When it comes to sports I have a lot to say and I look forward to what my fellow sports fans and friends have to say as well.
Let the Linsanity begin.
I have to agree with Bobby on that…also, who won the Yankee game you attended (seemingly as the sole Met fan) in the picture up at the top of the page?

I assume I was there just for the hard rock cafe…(unfortunately the Yankees won)

Whaaaat up?! Let the debating begin, considering you were only two years old for the Mets in 86, I would say its been much more bad then good…
I’ll be adding a winning ( Yankee) perspective. Holla
